Quick and easy scarf - hat set

Just a quick blog update to show you a lovely set which you can easily make youself.
I made this set on order for an old preschool friends son.

The scarf is made with my V-puff Pattern which you can find HERE.
The hat is the Brain Wave Beanie, designed by Liz McQueen, her pattern is published through Ravelry, HERE you can link to her pattern.

Keep on crocheting!

Pinky Ear flaps

Only one more week and we are heading to Switserland.
Fingers crossed for having some snow
because the meadows surrounding our house are still green.

But!! first things first, celebarating x-mas with family still has to come.
Preparing the house for x-mas... I love it.

While working on my orders I suddenly remembered that my daughter still needs
a hat for the snow.

And what's better to resist cold windy snow than an ear flap hat.
I made one to match my daugthers coat.

And I finally found a yarn of which she says it doesn't sting.
She is really really fussy about prickly wool.

The pattern from Repeat Crafter Me can be found over HERE.

Underneath you will find the link to the yarn I used.

    Baby Swirl Beanie

    Today I have a baby-shower visit planned.
I have known this for weeks, yet I totally forgot to crochet a pair of baby-booties.

So I woke up this morning, deciding to crochet a baby-hat instead.

Browsing through all the lovely designs on Ravelry, this pattern got my attention.
A design by Sara Zimmerman from Repeat Crafter me.

A really easy pattern with a great result.
Since this beanie is for a cute baby boy, I added a little pom pom at the top.

I guess if you crochet this for a cool boy, you could leave the pompom out.
It just makes the baby hat look really cute.

And what's nicer than to receive a gift in a nice bag.

    Rainbow Colourburst

Since I saw this yarn I just had to create something with it.
I love the feel, the colours, the material.

So I decided to make a scarf and a matching beanie.
Both came out really thick and warm.
    Now let the winter begin!

The pattern of the scarf is based on my free pattern called the V-Puff scarf,
You can find the link to this pattern over HERE.

The hat is based on this pattern by Zoe. I added a rim to it instead of the edging she used.
And of course a pom pom.

At both the crochet hat and the crochet scarf  I used a 4.5 mm crochet hook.
And of course I will share the link to this beautiful self striping yarn.

This scarf and hat are for sale as a set at a price of € 39,95

No excuses anymore for being cold

Everytime I finish a new Fairy Tale Cowl, it amazes me how nice this pattern turns out.
The cowl is seriously big, you can snuggle up it in completely.

It appears to be different eveytime, according to the way you wrap the cowl around your neck.
I prefer this yarn, for the cowl.

For this cowl I used the yarn Donna. The colours fade into another really smooth and the yarn is very soft and rich.

The pattern for this cowl can be bought from my Ravelry Store.
